If you like?video games, then you're going to love the coming week. The Electronic Entertainment Expo -- the biggest and possibly most important video game show?of the year -- is about to get under way in Los Angeles.

We here at msnbc.com's In-Game blog will be on hand and invite you to join us as we bring you breaking news,?hands-on impressions of games, developer interviews ?and everything in between.

The E3 trade show?is traditionally?the place where?many of the biggest games and most important gaming devices are revealed by their creators. This year's E3 will fill the Los Angeles Convention Center with?dazzling?displays of?new games, gadgets and other innovations from more than 200 industry?representatives.

Technically speaking, the doors to E3 swing wide for three days from Tuesday, June 7, to Thursday, June 9. But the fun gets under way before that with Microsoft, Sony, Electronic Arts and Ubisoft kicking things off with press conferences on?Monday and Nintendo unveiling its own closely guarded game secrets at a press conference Tuesday morning.

To keep up with everything that's happening, we invite you to follow our team -- In-Game editor Todd Kenreck, video producer Matt Rivera, reporter Devin Coldewey and yours truly.
