Refinancing without 4506T verification. - Zillow Mortgage Advice

"You don't have anything to add because you don't know what you're talking about."

Just because...can any lenders tell me whether or not the following thought is correct, partially correct, or out-in-left-field?

Is one of the reasons why many?lenders use the tax return to verify income because the USG plays a big role in the secondary?mortgage market.

If I'm out-in-left-field, then why is the tax return the defacto method of verifying income? Or, is it just easier to use the tax return, which is filed under the threat of legal penalties for falsification, than to expend the effort to independently verify incomes.

Grazi. I don't mind being wrong, I'd just rather not stay that way.

Comic-Con 2013: Harrison Ford can't escape his past (but he's trying)

Comic-Con 2013: Harrison Ford came to Comic-Con 2013 to discuss his current movie, 'Ender's Game,' but the attendees wanted to hear about Ford's roles of decades past.

It's been years since Harrison Ford played film characters Indiana Jones and Han Solo, but the questions still come ? especially at?Comic-Con.

Ford made his second appearance at the all-things-geek gathering in the U.S. on Thursday to promote his new film, "Ender's Game."

But fans instead peppered the 71-year-old with questions about characters he left behind long ago.

One fan asked what might happen if Solo, the Millenium Falcon pilot from "Star Wars," met Jones, the adventure-addicted archaeologist.

"Hi, how are you?" Ford asked before shaking his head, taking off his glasses, and rubbing his eyes in a marvelous moment of comedic timing.

Another questioner, a man from Brazil who said he dreamed of being the whip-wielding Jones as a kid, asked if Solo would make a good soldier for Col. Hyrum Graff, the character Ford plays in "Ender's Game."

"You know, you and I have a lot in common. I used to dream about being Indiana Jones when I was younger. Not so much anymore," Ford said, pausing while the audience laughed. "I don't think Han Solo would be good as a soldier in anybody's army. I think he's what we call now an independent contractor."

New Law to Drop Health Insurance Costs in New York ... - Bankruptcy

By John Clark

The Affordable Care Act has received plenty of criticism from both sides of the political aisle, but it will likely allow New Yorkers to drop their health insurance costs by 50 percent next year, according to a report from The New York Times.

Sources say the federal health care law has led a significant decrease in insurance costs in the Empire State, which could reduce the high levels of medical debt in New York.
//

Affordable Care Act Starting Impact Health Insurance Costs

Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced this week that state regulators have started approving health insurance premiums for 2014 that are up to 50 percent lower than rates available in New York today.

This October, for example, New York City residents who currently pay $1,000 a month for health insurance will be able to find comparable coverage for as little as $308 a month.

And with the addition of federal subsidies to the mix, these health insurance costs could dip even lower, according to sources following the insurance trends.

According to supporters of the new law, the drop in rates is due to the online purchasing exchanges created by the Affordable Care Act. In theory, these exchanges are supposed to create competition between insurance companies, forcing them to lower rates

The new law requires that similar exchanges be implemented in every state, and officials from the Obama Administration believe that other states will have similar success.

?We?re seeing in New York what we?ve seen in other states like California and Oregon ? that competition and transparency in the marketplaces are leading to affordable and new choices for families,? said Joanne Peters, an official with the Department of Health and Human Services.

Effect of Health Care Law on Medical Debt Remains Unclear

But while the new health care law seems to be having a positive impact, the new insurance rates only apply to New Yorkers who purchase health care on their own. Those with employer-based coverage may not necessarily see the same benefits, according to reports.

Sources note, however, that roughly 2.6 million people in New York do not currently have health insurance, so a large number of residents may be able to take advantage of the lower rates.

In fact, state authorities believe that more than 600,000 residents of New York will decide to buy their own health insurance during the first few years of the program, although this is simply speculation.

I asked some of my Facebook friends about their opinion to the Trayvon Martin verdict

After George Zimmerman was acquitted for the death of Trayvon Martin, my Facebook feed blew up with opinions about the trail from the ignorant and otherwise. As someone that lost interest in the trial as soon as celebrities got involved, I found the outburst a little obnoxious quite frankly.

But while sifting through the most ignorantly racist and annoying posts from the trial voyeurs and even reading a few aloud to my brother on the way back home from a wedding (in ironically, Florida), I decided I wasn't giving my rabid Facebook friends with an opinion a fair chance and became slighted with how initially annoyed with them I really was.? So instead of writing it off to another stupid, high-profile trial cult-like following, I decided to ask a few of my most avid yet more intelligent Facebook? Trayvon Martin supporters why they were so passionate about the verdict to figure out what the anger was really all about. ?I am not including their name in order to protect their privacy. I wanted them to have the opportunity to vent more publicly. .

? 1.? The Nurse ?

Where are you from?

Rome, GA ?

What race do you identify yourself with?

Black ?

Have you followed the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman Case? If so, are you surprised by the verdict? Why or why not?

I have followed the trial and I was surprised by the verdict. While I thought the state failed to prove without a reasonable doubt Zimmerman was guilty of second degree murder, I did think that the jury would find him convicted of manslaughter simply because he deliberately disobeyed the instructions given to him by the non emergency dispatch and placed himself in a situation that he ended up losing control of. I felt that the story he told was very inconsistent and being a nurse, the injuries he sustained were not consistent with his statement on how he sustained them. I think that had Zimmerman identified himself as the neighborhood watch leader, the outcome of the situation would have been different. In my opinion, this verdict tells people that it is ok to profile and stalk someone take matters ,into your own hands and if things don't go like you think they will, you can kill the person you think may be doing something with no evidence of wrong doing on their part. ?

Did you know Trayvon Martin or do you know George Zimmerman personally? Do you have any ties to the case? If not, do you follow other high profile trials? ?Why was this particular trail something you found interesting?

I do not know anybody that was involved in the trial and I usually don't follow trials at all, but I found this one interesting because I am a mother with four children, one of them being a boy. I have six nephews and many friends with children as well.

Will you volunteer your time to raise awareness over what you feel is an injustice in relation to the outcome of this trial??

Merkel in warning over another Greek debt haircut

BERLIN --?

German Chancellor Angela Merkel is warning that a second debt writedown for Greece could undo much of the recent work done to stabilize the euro area.

Merkel's comments Friday came a day after her finance minister visited Athens and told a Greek audience that it's not in the country's interests to seek a second write-off, or "haircut," following last year's debt restructuring with private-sector bondholders.

Merkel pointed to the possible consequences of another writedown in the 17-country eurozone and the danger that others might seek a similar deal. Portugal, Ireland and Cyprus have also received bailouts.

She said another debt relief deal "could lead to such massive uncertainty among all investors in the eurozone that everything we have done in recent years would again be in question."
